I went on over 100 interviews during college with only 1 offer that I didn’t want. So, I joined basically out of desperation. One of the greatest things that has ever happened to me.

I’m not sure I can exactly answer why I joined Lane; however, I can say why I am happy I joined. Every day is different, but I am always busy. I love being challenged, learning something new and meeting new clients. The company culture- no BS, no drama. I always have a sense of satisfaction once an order is placed or a project is completed. I’ve learned more in the few months I have been here than I have at past dealers.
I once drove to Canada to get a passport stamp at the border. They did not stamp my passport. Montreal was nice though.
I attend client meetings (mostly on Zoom these days), attend deliveries and installations, create image books and budgets. I also create proposals and place orders. I’m heavily involved in projects from soup to nuts and thoroughly enjoy bringing a client’s ideas to life!

My great aunt Nancy, whom we all lovingly called “Mother”. She was the anchor that held the family together, up until she passed at the age of 103 in 2013.
I had just left a high-stress job; Lane was perfect for me to be part of a tight-knit family of professionals, without the pressure I was used to.
I’m most proud of my kids. They’re all good people (mostly).
I love anything related to the arts. At one point I aspired to be a film editor. While working in the casting department of the advertising firm DDB, I got to know a few film editors, which piqued my interest in that profession. I also took several classes on the same at SVA.
Reading: as far back as I can remember, my family’s home library encompassed a wide range of books ranging from biographies, classics, fiction, history, science, theology, etc. Music: violin and piano lessons starting at age 8. Baking: I studied pastry arts at the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE).
Lane is like a family business. You are encouraged to do what you need to do to benefit clients.
